KUCHING: Betong Division Sepak Takraw Association (PSTBB) are determined to make a surprise in the Open Team Sepak Takraw Championship, Sarawak PEKEMA Cup 2017 which will take place in Sibu from July 21 to 23.
PSTBB president, Datuk Dr Paruwadi Musa said they are aware that other teams will also bring together their best players from all over the division.
“However, our initial mission (PSTBB) is to try and make a surprise,” said Datuk Dr Paruwadi at his Aidilfitri Open House recently.
He expressed confidence on the team’s chances with their line-up of players to deliver the best performances.
“We are also taking chances on our young players as well as the experienced players,” he said, adding that thecombination of players would be able achieve their mission.
