SARIKEI: A 46-year-old motorcyclist was injured in an accident involving her bike and a car at the Jalan Orchid junction here today.
A Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) spokeperson said the accident happened at around 7.50am when the woman was on her way to Sarikei town.
He said the victim did not manage to stop her motorcycle after a car in front of her turned to the left.
Firefighters rushed to the scene after receiving the call at 7.50am.
The woman was given early treatment by the ambulance team before she was rushed to Sarikei Hospital.
