Bintulu Port Holdings Berhad donates 200 plastic chairs to SK Tatau

BINTULU: Bintulu Port Holdings Berhad contributed 200 plastic chairs to SK Tatau on Friday (May 26) as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programme.

Bintulu Port Holdings Berhad chief corporate services officer Maslihah Tioh expressed the company’s dedication to engaging in CSR initiatives for schools.

“Previously, we donated boats and outboard engines to SK Sungai Anak Selangau and televisions to SK Tatau. Our CSR efforts extend beyond Bintulu to other areas, including Kuching.”

SK Tatau chairman and Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) representative Mohd Rizal expressed gratitude towards Bintulu Port Holdings Berhad for its generous donation.

He emphasised that this contribution would significantly enhance the learning environment for students.

Meanwhile, SK Tatau headmaster Ibai Aning expressed hope for continued collaborations and contributions in the future. He stressed the importance of ongoing cooperation in improving educational opportunities for students.

To commemorate the partnership, a signing ceremony for a collaboration certificate took place between SK Tatau and Bintulu Port Holdings Berhad.
