BETONG: A three-month pregnant woman was rushed to the hospital after suffering from bleeding in a furniture store here today (8 Sep).

Betong District Civil Defence Force (APM) officer-in-charge Second Lieutenant Desem Samuel said that the Betong District Operations Control Centre (PKOD) was informed about the incident at 1.32 pm.

“When the Charlie Squad arrived at the location which is the Alibaba Furniture Store, it was found that the three-month pregnant woman was weak and bleeding,” he said.

He further explained that the victim was then handed over to Betong Hospital for further action.

The three-member team of the APM who assisted the operation was led by led by Sergeant Michael Awan Aing.
