KUCHING: The Malaysian Armed Forces Indian Veteran Association (Perim) Sarawak branch will be holding a blood donation campaign on May 8.
The campaign will take place at Dewan Persatuan India Kuching, Batu 1.5, Jalan Rock here.
Perim secretary Rajendran Muniandy, in a statement today (Apr 20), stated that the campaign was jointly organised with Sarawak Department of Veterans Affairs (JHEV), veteran associations and the Indian community in Kuching.
“The objective of this campaign is to help the Blood Bank of Sarawak General Hospital (SGH) which is facing a shortage of supply during the month of Ramadan.
“We are also planning to extend the invitation and have a state minister or assistant minister officiate at the campaign,” he said.
