KUCHING: The Sarawak Chinese Association (SCA) and Malaysian Red Crescent (MRC) Miri Chapter are jointly organising a Malaysia Day blood donation campaign today (Sept 13).
The campaign will take place at MRC Miri Chapter building at Jalan Bulan Sabit, Miri from 8.30am to 1pm.
As a token of appreciation, the first 70 successful donors will receive a pack of 5kg Shun Rice, disposable face masks, packet drinks, eggs, and Julie’s Crackers Combo 3’s.
SCA president Ting Pang Soon expressed his appreciation for the sponsorship of Shun Shen Lee Trading Sdn Bhd as well as the efforts of MRC Miri Chapter since the movement control order (MCO) to ensure sufficient blood supply at the Miri Hospital Blood Bank.
He welcomes the public to participate in the campaign for a good cause, and also reminds participants and volunteers to adhere to the standard operating procedures (SOPs) at the premises.
