KUCHING: A search and rescue team yesterday found the body of 27-year-old Ferguson two kilometres from Sungai Kuap Bridge at the Kuching/Kota Samarahan Road. The body was sighted at 9.45am between nipah palm trees in the river.
Earlier, Ferguson’s sister had posted on social media that her brother’s car was found parked near the bridge and the family was
worried because they could not contact him. Ferguson, who had been diagnosed with tumor, failed to return home since Monday.
His mother lodged a missing person report on Tuesday morning. Ferguson’s body was sent to Sarawak General Hospital’s morgue for a post-mortem by the police who are investigating the case.
