SIBU: The State Library is offering free BookBear service here via the Angka.sa2 application.
In support of reading programmes and activities during the Covid-19 pandemic, the library is providing this service to its users.
The BookBear is a direct-to-consumer book-borrowing service through the Angka.sa2 application, which can be downloaded from Google Play Store and App Store.
The service started on June 13 in Kuching and Miri and in Sibu yesterday It operates every Monday to Saturday, from 9am to 5pm.
“This initiative ensures users have access to the library collection as the State Library has not fully opened its premises.
“Moreover, the BookBear service also covers a 20-kilometre radius from the library,” the statement said yesterday (Sept 1).
