KUCHING: Those that have yet to receive their Covid-19 booster shot can walk in to the Emart Batu Kawah here on Sunday (Jan 16).
According to a notice shared by Deputy Chief Minister Datuk Seri Dr Sim Kui Hian in a Facebook post on Saturday (Jan 15), the administration of the booster shot will take place at the promotion area at Emart Batu Kawah.
“For the love of your family, yourself, please get your booster vaccination. Let’s fight COVID-19 and Omicron surge together,” he said.
The booster vaccination programme is organised by the Ministry of Health, and the public can walk in to Emart Batu Kawah starting from 9am to 3pm.
They can also either choose to receive China’s Sinovac shot or the United States’ Pfizer shot.
Those planning to get the Sinovac booster vaccine must get their booster vaccine at least three months after receiving two doses of Sinovac.
Meanwhile, those planning to get the Pfizer booster vaccine are allowed to receive the booster six months after two doses of Pfizer.
