KUCHING: Women, Early Childhood and Community Wellbeing Development Minister Datuk Seri Fatimah Abdullah received a courtesy call from the Boy’s Brigade at her office in Baitulmakmur II Building here on Friday.

The visit aimed to discuss the BB Love Box event that will be organised for the 12th time.

In the meantime, she said, this event collects and distributes gifts to those who are less fortunate, especially to share the joy of Christmas throughout Sarawak.

“Among the donations received and will be distributed are rice, eggs, stationery, books and more to help families in need,” she explained.

Earlier, she received a courtesy call from the Single Mother Association (PITSA).

Also present were the officer of the 7th Kuching Company of the Boys Brigade in Malaysia Tommy Ting, Sarawak Community Welfare and Community Service chairman Jordon Bong and Sarawak Community Welfare and Community Service deputy chairman Fong Teck Chong.
