MIRI: A man in his 20s was caught red-handed late Wednesday evening for stealing women’s bras.
The incident was reported to have occurred within the Curtin Water residential area around 5.45pm.
Curtin Water is located not far away from the Curtin University Sarawak Campus in Senadin.
According to sources, the suspect was nabbed by the residential area’s security guards.
The undergarments were hung by the owner to dry on the clothes lines within the house compound.
In response to an alert on the incident, a mobile police vehicle (MPV) unit rushed to the scene.
Meanwhile, a 29-second video footage showing the suspect getting scolded and nabbed at the area has gone viral on social media since Thursday evening.
Most of the netizens on the social media were enraged and shocked over the incident.
The suspect, however was released following the houseowner’s refusal to lodge a police report.
