“The gang comprising suspects aged 20, 21 and 15 were arrested on March 2,” said Kuching police chief ACP Ahsmon Bajah.

“Apart from that, the team also conducted a raid on an unlicensed workshop owned by a 63-year-old man, where the three suspects had stored the stolen goods in addition to it being a place to modify their vehicles.”

He said this during a press conference at the district police headquarters today.

Thus far the suspects have been found involved in three theft cases, three stolen motorcycle cases and seven break-ins of 24 hour convenience stores, laundry machines and vending machines in the Kuching area.

“Police also confiscated helmets, gloves, a cutter, machetes, flip knives, pliers and wires used by the suspects to break the machines to steal.
