The K-pop superstars revealed on Twitter that their new album, “Map of the Soul: 7,” will arrive as soon as February 21.

“#BTS MAP OF THE SOUL : 7(+ENG/JPN/CHN),” the South Korean boy band tweeted to announce their seventh studio effort, also linking fans to their Weverse community mobile app.

Details about the upcoming album are still scarce to this date, although pre-orders started on January 9.

BTS fans, also commonly referred to as Army, will have to wait over a month to discover what J-Hope, Jimin, Suga, RM, Jungkook, Jin and V have been cooking up in the recording studio.

The K-pop sensations first alluded to “Map of the Soul: 7” back in December, as they received the award for “Group of the Year” during Variety’s Hitmakers brunch.

“The great news is that we are currently working on our new music and new album and can’t wait to share them with you guys in the near future. I hope you guys are so excited to discover what BTS has in store in 2020,” RM teased in the band’s acceptance speech.

The upcoming album will mark the second installment of BTS’s “Map of the Soul” series, following their 2019 “Map of the Soul: Persona.”

The full-length, which debuted at No. 1 in several countries, notably featured contributions by Halsey on the lead single “Boy With Luv,” as well as Ed Sheeran on “Make It Right.”

In addition to announcing “Map of the Soul: 7,” BTS released the seventh installment of their travel vlog series, “Golden Closet Film (G.C.F),” on December 27.

More recently, Big Hit Entertainment teased that the South Korean septet will go on tour in the coming months, briefly tweeting “April 2020. Stay tuned.”

Last year, Big Hit Entertainment revealed that the band’s “Love Yourself: Speak Yourself” mega tour drew a total audience of more than two million at 62 shows in 23 cities. – Relaxnews
