Bumiputera entrepreneurs in Telang Usan receive aid from SEDC

KUCHING: A total of 56 entrepreneurs from Telang Usan constituency received entrepreneurship assistance under the Program Peningkatan Usahawan Bumiputera (PUTERA).

The aid, which comes in the form of equipment and machines, is intended to help and improve the standard of small Bumiputera businesses that have potential and are viable.

The programme is a joint effort between the State Finance Secretary’s Office and the Sarawak Economic Development Corporation.

According to the Sarawak Public Communication Unit (UKAS), Telang Usan assemblyman Dennis Ngau, was reportedly there to hand over the aid during a recent ceremony at Kampung Long Bedian.

The lrecipients includes 35 individuals from Kampung Long Bedian, 12 from Kampung Long Latei, three each from Kampung Long Luteng and Long Lama, and one each from Long Anyat, Long Daloh and Long Atip.
