Call to arrange for walk-in appointments

SIBU: Members of the public aged 18 and above here who have yet to receive their Covid-19 vaccine are urged to call the nearby vaccination centre (PPV) immediately to arrange for walk-in vaccination appointment.

Sibu Divisional Disaster Management Committee chairman Wong Hee Sieng said the PPVs recommended for this registration method is open daily.

“The public can contact the Sibu Resident’s Office at 084-317934, Sibu Indoor Stadium PPV (084-353295 or 019-8159608), Sibu Jaya Multipurpose Hall PPV (016-7054991), Selangau Multipurpose Hall PPV (084-891104) and Kanowit District Office Hall PPV (084-752203),” said Wong, who is also the Sibu Division Resident, when contacted on Sunday (July 25).

He reminded the public to make appointments in advance before going to the PPV.

“We do not encourage people to come directly to the PPV without making an appointment first to avoid congestion,” he said.
