KUCHING: The dashboard of a car caught fire near the headquarters of Sarawak Energy Berhad (SEB) at The Isthmus here at 5.50pm on Saturday.
State Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) received a distress call on the incident and despatched a team of firefighters from Tabuan Jaya fire and rescue station to the scene.
Upon arrival, they found that the fire only involved the dashboard near the front passenger seat.
The fire was immediately extinguished.
The cause of the fire was not known.
