Catch Dayang Nurfaizah live on stage together with SONS of Majlis Seni Sarawak during their ‘Vibes of Borneo’ performance at the Borneo Jazz Festival soon.

KUCHING: Fans of Malaysian singer and Kuching-born Dayang Nurfaizah can catch her live on stage together with SONS of Majlis Seni Sarawak during their ‘Vibes of Borneo’ performance at the Borneo Jazz Festival on June 26 from 6pm-6.30pm at Coco Cabana, Miri.

The festival’s daytime activities and exhibitions happening from June 24-26 are free and open to the public.

Check out the Borneo Stories segment from June 24-26, 11am-7pm, which includes Borneo Boat Lute Revival Exhibition, Borneo Batik Demonstration by Noel Belulok and Borneo Tattoo Showcase by Arth Akal.

For those looking for wellness activities, watch out for the Wellness Programme happening on June 25-26 from 8.30am-10.30am for the Yoga (Visualisation Exercise, Yin Yoga, Vinyasa Hatha) and Sape session.

Musicians can also take the opportunity to attend music workshops featuring Borneo Jazz Talent Search Masterclass, Sape Performance ‘Evolution of the Sape’ by Miri Sape Movement on June 24 (5.30pm-6pm), Percussion Workshop with Steve Thornton Eco Drum Workshop and Jam by Lewis Pragasam and Steve Thornton on June 25 (3pm-4.30pm).

Festival-goers can shop for Sarawak handicrafts and more at the Artsy Fartsy Artisan Market. Additionally, there will also be scrumptious food and drinks sold here.

Other fun paid activities for adults include a cocktail making and tasting session, canvas painting and improv workshop. Meanwhile, families can participate in the Papa & I tote bag painting (children above six years old), Pot Embossing (adults and children above 12 years old), recycled art (toddlers below six years old) among many others.

Evening ticket holders can park their cars for free near the entrance of Coco Cabana.
