KUCHING: The management and staff of H&L Retail Sdn Bhd recently visited Sarawak General Hospital (SGH) and spent a day with young cancer patients.
They also celebrated Christmas in advance with the patients, in conjunction with H&L’s 60th Anniversary to end the celebration with a history.
The company started collecting Christmas gifts from November via their branches in Kuching, namely BDC, Tabuan Plaza, Kuching Sentral, Aiman Mall, Eastern Mall and Serian.
H&L’s marketing officer Lianny Bujang revealed that the company received an overwhelming response from the public.
“We would like to thank each and everyone of them who deposited their gifts,” she said.
Aside from the gifts donated by members of the public, H&L also brought cupcakes from The Magic Oven, a bakery by H&L, for the children.
“We want everyone to enjoy this season and no one should be left behind. These are the little things that we can help to put a smile on their faces,” she added.
