KUCHING: Chief Minister Datuk Patinggi Abang Johari Tun Abang Haji Openg received a courtesy call by a delegation from Centre of Technical Excellence Sarawak (CENTEXS) led by State Secretary Tan Sri Datuk Amar Mohamad Morshidi Abdul Ghani who is also chairman of CENTEXS in the Chief Minister’s office here, last Wednesday.

During the courtesy call, the Chief Minister was briefed on the Train-The-Trainer CENTEXS-HUAWEI programme and the latest CENTEXS project which is CENTEXS-HUAWEI Digital.

The programme is under an agreement signed between HUAWEI and CENTEXS on 10 November, 2017 which was aimed at developing CENTEXS-HUAWEI (CENHUA) Digital Lab and Digital Training Programme to get ready the manpower with global accreditation to support Sarawak’s Digitial Economy.

Twelve CENTEXS officers will be sent to  Kuala Lumpur and China to attend the Train-The-Trainer Programme which will commence from 26 February to 29 June.

Also present was Acting Chief Executive Officer, Hamimah Tan.
