Chamber assures continual support, help

KUCHING: Sarawak Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) will continue to respond and support government mission.

This pertains to the move by the state towards the Post-COVID Development Strategy 2030 (PCDS 2030) objective of a high-income and developed state by 2030.

Its president Datuk Abang Abdul Karim Tun Openg said SCCI continues to provide the best assistance to the business community in Sarawak.

He said this during SCCI’s 71st annual meeting, held at local hotel here recently.

Hosted physically and virtually, the meeting was attended by its members throughout the state.

The speaker was Sarawak Economic Development Corporation (SEDC) Energy Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Robert Hardin who acquainted members with the hydrogen landscape and initiatives in Sarawak, its latest projects and the commercial opportunities available.

The president also expressed his thanks to members for their continual support and hoped that SCCI would continue to champion the local business community, thereby continuing to serve its members for many years to come.

SCCI holds its 71st annual meeting physically.
