MIRI: The Chamber of Sarawak Bumiputera Entrepreneurs (DUBS) here is hoping the State government will consider building a convention centre in Miri.
Its chairman, Mohammad Hafidz Rohani who proposed the idea has also suggested that the centre be developed on a piece of land owned by DUBS Miri.
“Its a five acre site located at a very strategic location.” he said.
Hafidz is also hoping the DUBS can be directly involved if the construction of this convention centre is approved.
“I believe DUBS members comprising entrepreneurs from various fields including logistics, hospitality, restaurants and tourism will benefit indirectly from this construction,” he added.
