MIRI: “AEROBIGDay 2023” a charity aerobic event will be held this Dec 10 at Miri Outdoor Stadium here.
Organised by Life Event Borneo, profits from the aerobic event will be donated to two local non-governmental organisations (NGOs), namely Persatuan Kebajikan Bantuan Komuniti Terpinggir Sarawak and Persatuan Kebudayaan dan Kesenian Harmoni Miri in order to support their operational costs.
“The culture of local ethnic groups like Penan including their language, self value, and traditional knowledge is valuable and deserved to be protected.
“In fact, it is important to assist the Penan ethnic group to establish a conductive learning environment so that the sustainability of traditional knowledge and culture can be promoted,” Life Event said in a press release.
There are four main categories that are open for registration which is category A: dry fit tee + momento + bib (RM40 for early birds and RM50 for normal price), category B: dry fit tee + bib (RM25 for early birds and RM35 for normal price), category C: momento + bib (RM15 for early birds and RM25 for normal price) and category B: bib (RM10 for early birds and RM15 for normal price), and the early bird price will be effective until this Oct 31.
