SIMANGGANG: A total of 250 individuals from the Simanggang area received food baskets in conjunction with the 2024 Chinese New Year “Sejambak Kasih” Ceremony.
Simanggang assemblyman Datuk Francis Harden Hollis said that the gift of food baskets was a contribution from donors to ease the burden of those in need.
He said this during his speech at the ceremony at the Che Chuan Khor Sri Aman Centre yesterday.
With that, he also thanked the organisers and donors for helping the community.
“Without donors, it would be quite difficult for us to implement the programme because raw materials and funds are very necessary to help those in need,” he said.
