MUKAH: A six-foot-long reticulated python spotted inside a chicken coop in Kampung Judan, was captured by Civil Defence Force (APM) personnel today.
The presence of the reptile was noticed by the complainant early in the morning and the office of APM Mukah was subsequently contacted for assistance.
Upon arriving, the team met with the complainant and found the python in the coop.
It is believed that the reptile had swallowed a chicken while inside the coop.
The team only took several minutes to capture the reptile with a snake catching equipment.
The snake was later released to its original habitat away from the neighbourhood.
