KUCHING: Chief Secretary to the Government (KSN) Datuk Seri Mohd Zuki Ali was conferred the Darjah Kebesaran Negeri Sarawak award in conjunction with the Head of State Tun Pehin Sri Abdul Taib Mahmud’s 85th birthday.

The investiture ceremony was held at Astana Negeri Sarawak, Petra Jaya yesterday (Sept 27) where Taib was accompanied by Toh Puan Datuk Patinggi Ragad Kurdi Taib.

Meanwhile, Mohd Zuki was conferred the Datuk Amar Bintang Kenyalang (DA) award which carries the title of ‘Datuk Amar’.

Mohd Zuki, who used to serve as the Federal Secretary of Sarawak, held the position of KSN from Jan 1, 2020.

Also present were Mohd Zuki’s wife Datin Seri Norizam Che Mohd Nor; Deputy Chief Ministers Tan Sri Datuk Amar Dr James Jemut Masing and Datuk Amar Douglas Uggah Embas with his wife Datin Amar Doreen Mayang; Local Government and Housing Minister Datuk Seri Dr Sim Hui Kian; Welfare, Community Wellbeing, Women, Family, and Childhood Development Minister Datuk Seri Fatimah Abdullah; Utilities Minister Datuk Seri Dr Stephen Rundi Utom; and other distinguished guests.
