LUNDU: A mother and her child were injured after the car they were travelling in crashed and turned turtle on Monday (Dec5) night.
The accident happened at Jalan Sempadi, here around 8pm.
The Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) said it received a call at 8.35pm.
Passers-by helped to pull out the child and an Emergency Medical Rescue Services (EMRS) vehicle rushed the victim to the hospital.
Meanwhile, the mother had to be extricated by the Bomba team as she was pinned to her seat. She suffered injuries to her right shoulder and was taken to the hospital for treatment.
