KUCHING: The Sarawak Children’s Cancer Society (SCSS) is looking for support to sponsor their weekly Wednesday breakfast for children.

The society stated that every Wednesday its team will prepare about 40 breakfast packs for children attending their clinic appointments at the Sarawak General Hospital’s (SGH) Pediatric Specialist Clinic in Kozi Square.

“The simple breakfast pack serves as a meal to some of the kids as they have to wake up early for their check-ups or as snacks to munch on while waiting.

“Send us a message and get in touch with us if you are interested in sponsoring part of the Wednesday Breakfast packs for the kids,” it said in a social media post on Tuesday (Nov 8).

On a separate post, the society revealed that they celebrated the birthday milestone for eight little warriors who turned from as young as three to 15 years old in October.

“On your special day and beyond, we wish you life’s greatest hope and perseverance to come out strong and victorious in this battle against childhood cancer.

“Sending you a gift of happiness to brighten up your day, but most importantly wishing you a smooth road to recovery,” it said.
