SRI AMAN: The Sri Aman Division Chinese Community Leaders Association has donated much-need computer chairs and desks to Rumah Kanak-Kanak Datuk Ajibah Abol (RKKDAA).

About five sets of computer chairs and desks have been donated to the children’s home, which was then presented by Simanggang assemblyman Datuk Francis Harden Hollis.

The donation was received by the children’s home principal Sharifah Mordiah Syed Ali, and witnessed by Chinese community leaders Pemanca Lee Siang Hua, Penghulu Tiong Chong Onn, Kapitan Tay Siaw Chuan, Kapitan Lai Joon Phin and Councillor Ting Lik Kiong.

Harden, who is also the Assistant Minister of Wellbeing, lauded the Chinese community leaders for their efforts and for understanding the needs of the children’s home.

“Although it is just a small contribution, it is meaningful as it provides ease to the children,” he said.

In the meantime, Francis also congratulated the schools for keeping the children’s home library clean to provide a conducive learning environment for the children.

Also present was RKKDAA assistant principal Iton Roseta.
