CLASSIC MRS ASIA INTERNATIONAL 2019

KUCHING: Hannie Phang, 52, from Kuching brings pride to the state and the nation when she was crowned Classic Mrs Asia International 2019.

She won the grand prize during Mrs Asia International 2019 pageant final held from last December 8 to 15 in Mandalay City, Myanmar.

Phang participated in similar beauty pageants at different levels previously, including Mrs Worldwide Inter-Continental Beauty Pageant held in Penang last March when she won in the classic category.

The Mrs Asia pageant was for married women contestants of Asian descent from 30 countries.

The other top five winners were Cha Cheongeun of Korea (Classic Mrs Asia International 2019 World Peace), Khin Ohmar Tun of Myanmar (Classic Mrs Asia International 2019 Friendship), Emi Asono of Japan (Classic Mrs Asia International 2019 All Nation), and Yang JiaLing of China (Classic Mrs Asia International 2019 Tourism).

Phang will represent Asia in the Classic Mrs World Pageant 2020 to be held in the USA on June 21 next year.
