SIMUNJAN: Rural dwellers here can now enjoy clean water supply through the Kampung Lubok Punggor Rural Water Supply Project.
Federal Tourism, Arts and Culture Minister Datuk Seri Nancy Shukri, during a visit to the Pangkor Zone High Level Water Tank here on Monday (Jan 17) said she was pleased to see nearby villages benefiting from the project as promised by the Sarawak government.
She added that the project is worth RM45 million.
“We are also grateful to be able to see its development and this proves that the Sarawak government is always concerned with the problems faced by the people,” she was quoted as saying by the Sarawak Public Communication Unit (UKAS).
Also present during the visit were the political secretary to the Tourism, Arts and Culture Ministry, Mohammed Kamaluddin Mohd Effendie; and the special duties officer to the Tourism, Arts and Culture Minister, Awang Safri Awang Ahmad.
