MUKAH: The Lions Club’s Mukah branch plans to organise its ‘SightFirst Programme’ before the end of the year.
Its president Penghulu Henry Lee Liong Ing said through the programme, eyeglasses will be donated to needy children.
“Other activities planned for the next few months include a peace poster competition for students; rural health projects; and health screening programmes for the public,” he told New Sarawak Tribune on Friday.
Meanwhile, he said the club held an installation ceremony for its board of directors for the 2020/2021 term, as well as a banquet ceremony at a leading hotel here last Sunday.
