KUCHING: Chief Minister Datuk Patinggi (Dr) Abang Johari Tun Datuk Abang Haji Openg received two courtesy calls in his office at State Legislative Assembly Complex here yesterday. The first coutresy call was from Minister of Entrpreneur Development, Mohd Redzuan Yusof.

The courtesy call was to discuss cooperation to empower Bumiputrera entrepreneurs in the state.

Mohd Redzuan arrived here last Wednesday on a three-day working visit to the state. The second courtesy call was from Minister of Education, Dr Maszlee Malik. Dr Maszlee told reporters after the courtesy call that he was looking at enhancing cooperation between the state and federal goverment for the development of education in Sarawak.

He also considered his meeting with the Chief Minister as very fruitful. The visit was the first made by Dr Maszlee to Sarawak after he was appointed as Minister of Education last May.

Also present were Deputy Chief Minister Datuk Amar Awang Tengah Ali Hasan, Minister of Education, Science and Technology Research, Dato Sri Micheal Manyin Jawong and Assistant Minister of Small and Medium Enterprises and E-Commerce, Datuk Haji Naroden Majais.
