CM visits Normah PPV

KUCHING: Chief Minister Datuk Patinggi Abang Johari Tun Openg visited the Normah Medical Specialist vaccination centre (PPV) today (June 16).

The purpose of the visit was to monitor the vaccine rollout at the private medical institution. During the short visit, he was accompanied by Normah’s chief executive officer Datuk Dr Au Yong Kien Hoe.

Earlier in the day, he had visited the Universiti Malaysia Sarawak (Unimas) PPV in Kota Samarahan.

Meanwhile, Sarawak Disaster Management Committee (SDMC) advisor Datuk Seri Dr Sim Kui Hian has commended Normah for its innovative vaccination approach.

He said the hospital, during its first day of operation on Monday (June 14) had vaccinated 1,000 individuals through the MySejahtera appointment.
