The one-metre-long cobra is successfully captured by Miri APM personnel.

MIRI: A cobra was captured after its attempt to pay a surprising visit to a house in Vista Perdana, was noticed by the house owner yesterday.

A spokesman from the Miri Civil Defence Force (APM) said they received a distressed call from the 34-year-old owner around 11.40am.

Following that, a four-member team was despatched to the scene and met with the complainant.

The owner told the team that he spotted the reptile entering his bedroom through the window while cleaning his backyard.

Eventually, the team managed to find the one-metre-long cobra next to a wardrobe in the bedroom.

Once it was captured, the reptile was later released back to its natural habitat, far from residential areas.
