SADONG JAYA: Seven individuals were left injured after the cars they were in collided along Jalan Jemukan today(Feb 29).
Firefighters from Asajaya station were promptly dispatched to the scene near Kampung Jemukan after receiving a distress call around 1.30pm.
Upon arrival, they found a Perodua Viva and a Perodua Axia involved in the accident, with seven individuals affected.
However, no operation was conducted as all of the victims were rescued from their vehicles by members of the public before the firefighters’ arrived.
Five of the victims were taken to the nearest health clinic in a private vehicle while, the other two were taken by a Civil Defence Force (APM) ambulance.
The extent of their injuries was not made known.
Once the situation was safe, the team departed back to their station.
