SARIKEI: Two elderly people who are bedridden at their homes finally received patient beds, thanks to Repok assemblyman Datuk Seri Huang Tiong Sii.
The donated patient bed was delivered to Kiu Poh Luk @ Kiu Ah Poh, 80, at his home at Batu 5, Jalan Repok.
The second patient bed was delivered to the home of 54-year-old Atai Atoi living at Lorong 1B, Jalan Meranti.
Both beds were delivered and set up by teams from the Repok service centre, while Huang was represented by Penghulu Huang Tiong Kang during the visit at the homes of the two recipients yesterday (Jan 13).
Huang hoped that both senior citizens would be comfortable lying on the beds at their homes.
