MUKAH: The Most Outstanding Award for ‘Mantap’ and ‘Betul’ was presented to Abdul Razif Ahmad as the King while the Queen was Kessy Enting.

The award was presented by Mukah Polytechnic (PMU) director Dullah Muluk and wife Masniah Abidin, during the inaugural ‘PMU Gemilang’ Summit hosted by the polytechnic at Kingwood Hotel last Friday.

There were also various awards presented to PMU staff in recognition for their commitment to PMU for the year 2019, including the Academic Awards and Voting Awards.

According to Dullah, the inaugural event was a token of appreciation to all PMU staff for their contribution to the polytechnic throughout 2019.

“Through the event, I would encourage all the staff to stay motivated and work harder as well as remain committed for the coming year.

“Throughout the year, various achievements were carved out by PMU, including the PITVH Boot Camp Startup Programme, the 2019 Career Carnival, the Technology and Innovation International Conference (TECHON) Programme, the MS ISO 9001: 2015 certification, and the Finalist Award in conjunction with the Sarawak Civil Service Quality for the State’s Main Agency Award and High Performance Team Award.”

At the event, as a partner of PMU’s collaboration agency, Bank Rakyat represented by its Mukah branch manager Yuhip Rabaie presented an asnaf donation of RM10,000 to PMU.

Also present were PMU collaboration agencies from Bintulu Port Holding, Ministry of Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs, Mukah Water Supply Department, Mukah Resident Office, UiTM Mukah, Dalat and Mukah District Council and Mukah District Education Office.

Also present were PMU deputy academic director Md Sani Said, deputy academic support director Iskandar Reduan, department heads, unit heads, lecturers, and PMU staff.
