SARIKEI: Repok assemblyman Datuk Seri Huang Tiong Sii yesterday distributed beverages and snacks to police personnel working during the movement control order (MCO).
The move was to show his concern for the cops on duty.
Kapitan Ling Dien Yong distributed the beverages and food to duty officers and personnel at each police station on behalf of Huang.
The assemblyman through Ling also advised the people here to abide by the order by staying at home during the period of enforcement.
“The government is protecting the people and people’s cooperation will help prevent the spread of the Covid-19 outbreak. I hope that the spread of Covid-19 will be contained as soon as possible,” he said.
Huang also thanked all those who worked in the front line.
