SADONG JAYA: Contractors have been told to speed up the upgrading and rehabilitation of roads in Sadong Jaya, Samarahan division which link to the state’s coastal road network.

The two projects comprised the Kota Samarahan/ Sadong Jaya Road and the Sadong Jaya/ Sungai Buloh Road in the Samarahan division.

He said such lackluster performance was not acceptable as the people have already expressed their frustrations at the delay.

Works on the Kota Samarahan/ Sadong Jaya Road costing RM14.32 million commenced on March 2 and is scheduled for completion in April, 2022.

“The total upgrading and rehabilitation length of the road is 11.233 kilometres with JKRS Type R3 (Modified) standard,” he said.
