MUKAH: Local cooperative, Koperasi Desa Lestari Kampung Tellian Tengah and Ulu Mukah Berhad (Kodelt), recorded a profit of RM62,556 for the financial year that ended Sept 30, 2019 compared to RM107,132 for the previous year.

Based on Kodelt’s financial statement for the year ending Sept 30, 2019, the 41.61 percent drop in profit was basically due to a drop in income of RM1,685,727 compared to RM1,779,824 recorded in 2018.

However, expenses (RM1,623,171) for last year were lower than in 2018 (RM1,672,692).

Meanwhile, Kodelt announced a dividend of 10 percent for last year for its 340 members, the same rate as in 2018.

Kodelt’s treasurer, Frederick Lamhai Likit presented the financial annual report at the cooperative’s sixth annual general meeting (AGM) at Dewan Suarah Mesra here last Saturday.

Set up more than five years ago and based in Kampung Seri Tellian (Tellian Tengah) here, Kodelt is involved in the provision of transportation services, capitalising on its fleet of 11 20-tonne lorries.
