KUCHING: A policeman was found hanged in his room at PULAPOR (Police Training Centre) Jalan Puncak Borneo near here at 8.30 am on Tuesday.
The remains of the policeman identified as Taneshwaran Ziqri bin Kalidass aged 34 from Tawau, Sabah were found by his superior who went to check on him. The deceased was believed to hang himself due to personal problems.
He was believed to have attended counselling session for seven times since early this year. The late Taneshwaran had served at PULAPOL since 2004. His remains were later taken to Sarawak General Hospital’s morgue for a post mortem.
