Cops collect RM12,830 in summonses from Bruneians

LIMBANG: Police here launched an operation to collect outstanding summonses from Bruneian road users yesterday.

The effort managed to collect RM12,830 from 86 outstanding summonses.

Limbang District Police chief, Superintendent Mohd Bukhori Saffai said the operation involved checks on 135 vehicles by a12-man team at the main road in front of Limbang Central Police Station.

“This operation was to trace owners of Brunei-registered vehicles with outstanding summonses, where the fines were yet to be paid for various traffic offences,” he said.

Bukhori advised those who had yet to pay their traffic summonses to go to the nearest police station.
