MIRI:  Miri police Chief ACP Lim Meng Seah has reminded his personnel not to be involved in any crime and drug-related activities.

“I will not compromise,” he said when met on Thursday after attending the Miri police monthly assembly held at Miri police headquarters.

“Zero-tolerance pertaining the two issues,” he stressed, adding as of December 16 last year, a total 444 police personnel (nationwide) were found involved with drug abused.

“Fortunately, in Miri we have yet to record any of our personnel involved,” he said.

Also present was Miri deputy police Chief Supt Mohd Sabri Zainol.

Sixteen police personnel received their certificates of appreciation while nine policemen were promoted to various new ranks.
