MUKAH: Dalat and Mukah District Council (MDDM) conducted routine checks on food and drink premises here yesterday.
The operation involved staff from the licensing and public health sections, accompanied by two councillors.
Tang Tiing Ping said they checked for food and drink operators trading licence as well as the cleanliness of their premises.
“We also look at the condition of the pedestrian walk in front of the premises,” he said New Sarawak Tribune.
It is learnt that MDDM will also travel to Dalat and Balingian several kilometres away to continue the checks.
