KUCHING: Kuching South City Council (MBKS) on Wednesday handed over food and drinks to frontline staff and volunteers at the Sarawak General Hospital vaccination centre (PPV) at Kozi Square.

MBKS mayor Datuk Wee Hong Seng witnessed the handover of the items.

The food and drinks were donated by CLZ Resources and Hi-Bee Resources (drinking waters and crackers), Wan Li Wan (120 cartons of drinking water) and Sarawak Chawan Association (200 packs of fried bee hoon).

Wee noted that the vaccination programme at Kozi Square was well organised. He hoped vaccine recipients would always follow the instructions and adhere to the guidelines.

“Please come according to the appointment date and time to avoid any problems,” he added.

Wee also urged the public to be patient with the frontline staff and volunteers who were working hard to take good care of the vaccine recipients.

“The volunteers are very helpful and if you are unsure of what to do, do ask them for help. They are there to assist the public,” he said.
