KUCHING: A couple was injured in an accident at Jalan Airport here yesterday.
The victims were said to be heading to their workplace when the motorcycle they were riding suddenly went out of control and crashed by the roadside near the Kuching International Aiport (KIA) at around 11.00am.
The male victim sustained injuries on his right leg while his female companion suffered head, bodily and leg injuries.
An ambulance was called to the scene and both victims were sent to the Sarawak General Hospital for treatment.
Traffic policemen were also at the scene to investigate the cause of the accident.
