PADAWAN: A drug-pushing couple was arrested and syabu worth over RM10,000 was seized from them here.
District police chief Supt Abang Zainal Abidin Abang Ahmad said police were led to the couple when they raided a house in Kampung Jaya Bakti around 11.30am on Monday (Nov 29).
The man and the woman, aged 36 and 33, who were inside the house were detained for inspection.
“It led to the finding of four plastic packets containing crystalline lumps believed to be syabu.
“The drugs weighing 105.76gm and valued around RM10,576 was seized as evidence,” he said.
Abang Zainal added that the couple also tested positive for drugs.
Aside from the drugs, police also confiscated a Perodua Axia which was believed used to distribute drugs.
