KUCHING: A delegation from Persatuan Anaq Vaie and Persatuan Melayu Sarawak Bintulu yesterday paid a courtesy call on acting Head of State Datuk Amar Awang Asfia Awang Nasar at his office in Dewan Undangan Negeri (DUN) building in Petra Jaya.
Later, Awang Asfia entertained them to a lunch.
Earlier, the acting Head of State had a meeting with senior staff of the Astana to brief them on his activities during the period of appointment.
Present at the meeting were assistant private secretary Junih Salleh Ahmad; head of Protocol Unit Mohamad Shalahudin Marzuki; head of Human Resource and Media Unit Ratmawati Sabil; head of Security Unit Hamka Mohamad; head of Accounting Unit Nor Izham Razali and administrative officer Zullasmie Gapor.
