KUCHING: Chief Minister Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg received a courtesy visit from Affin Bank Group yesterday.

The delegation, led by Affin Bank Group president and chief executive officer Datuk Wan Razly Abdullah Wan Ali, visited him at Wisma Bapa Malaysia to discuss their cooperation to assist the development in Sarawak.

“Abang Johari stated that Sarawak has many development projects and maybe we can help from that angle,” Wan Razly  told reporters after the visit.

During the visit, he also presented a zakat contribution of RM250,000 to Tabung Baitulmal Sarawak (TBS), witnessed by Abang Johari.

Also present during the visit was the president of the Sarawak Islamic Council Datuk Misnu Taha.
