KOTA SAMARAHAN: The Covid-19 screening and ‘drive-thru’ centre at Kota Samarahan Civic Centre was closed temporarily to allow cleaning and sanitisation work to be carried out today.

The process was done in collaboration with the Health Ministry (MOH), State Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) and the Malaysian Armed Forces (MAF) from the 1st ‘Battalion Ubat’ in Muara Tuang Camp.

According to Kota Samarahan Civic Centre assistant medical officer Osman Buang, the Covid-19 screening and ‘drive-thru’ centre will also be operating at the Kota Samarahan Health Clinic.

“As a result of the Samarahan Division’s Health Office initiative, 23 sanitisation personnel from MOH, Bomba and MAF including the civic centre management have conducted a cleaning and sanitisation process here,” he said when contacted.

The Samarahan Health Office thanked the civic centre management and all the agencies involved in the operation.

It is understood that the operation was carried from 8am to 11.30am.
